Feb 14, 2013 · Windows server 2012 Essentials does support of Windows XP. System requirements state that Windows XP is not supported, or it is not listed as a supported OS. From what I have learnt XP clients can join the domain, so if it is a case of functionally, what is missing for XP? Thanks in advance

Sep 01, 2014 · Did not realize Server 2012 did not support Windows XP Client machines. I just built a server with 24Gigs of Ram, 2 Quad Core CPUs and 6 hard drives in a RAID 10 Array (2hot swap) inside an Intel SR1625URR rack mount.
