Jun 06, 2007 · Wine is not to be packaged on the fly - I think the package maker should have a general interest in wine and follow the mailing list for wine. It is also stated that certain wine versions don't work for "your favorite" apps. If you only use wine for one or two apps, I see no reason to upgrade wine as long as you have a working wine version.
