Mar 23, 2015 · Hi Southerner, Usually the WinPE has included the usual driver to read the hard drives .For your situation ,it seems that we need specific driver for XPS2720 All in One workstations to use the SSD drive.It is recommended to look for Dell XPS2720 All in One workstations support for help .They are the device manufacturer and they may have more resources to resolve this issue .

WinPE solves the issue. However, it's the sata mode that is the issue with the Linux recovery media. Workaround is to temporarily change sata mode from RAID to AHCI, boot to Acronis and backup or restore. Then change the bios sata mode back to RAID before booting the OS. Linux is the hold up with the RAID driver support, nvme is fine.
