Is there any ways to execute my hook before the system hook. In Linux, when an Xserver executed an hook, it won't execute the next hook on the same-key press event. Any helps would be preciate. key x11 keypress capture xlib.

In xev, this produces keypress/keyrelease events separated by ~30ms, with the next keypress immediately after the previous keyrelease event, until I change windows. I think this is because the FN + right key combination recognizes the "End" key being unpressed, and …

This way X11 are not accessible to R and R reports no png/jpg/X11 support with capabilities(). I tried to run Sage through virtual framebuffer (xvfb-run), but it didn't work either (edit: now it works, with sage 4.6.2, go on and try it). In the trac ticket you linked, the configure output shows PNG is enabled (I.E. the library was found) but you may be ending up with no support for an actual png() graphics device due to one of the following - configure didn't find Xlib as X11 is not listed under Interfaces - configure didn't find cairo as it is not listed under Additional capabilities So, although R has the PNG library that is only useful for writing PNG …

This rough little (unsupported) patch will resolve this, and will result in the correct detection and compilation of Qt with
