Jun 28, 2009 · When you install XBMC Live you will have the newer driver installed. Alternatively extract XBMC Live iso to USB drive then replace nvidia driver with newer version and boot from USB drive to install (didn't work for me though maybe down to software issue on my end) Tested on my unit and it now reads Ion GPU instead of unknown.

Oct 02, 2019 · Hi all, Recently i've changed my computer connected to my LCD TV; previously i was using 1360x768 with a DVI to HMDI cable in my TV, but now i can't get that resolution working again on XBMC Live (a minimal ubuntu distro with no gnome GUI) i have 190 version of nVidia driver, i've tried editing xorg.conf to force that res, but no luck... can anybody help me?

May 23, 2009 · nVidia have been kind enough to loan one of our devs (motd2k) an ION reference box that we can use to showcase XBMC at Linuxtag. It has what appears to be an Atom 230 processor, so compilation of XBMC took just over an hour, but thanks to hardware accelerated video decoding, performance while running XBMC is awesome [HTML1]
