Dec 14, 2013 · As a test, I closed out of XBMC and loaded the video in windows media player (even the .mkv). Everything looked absolutely fine. No hiccups, nothing. So I'm convinced my system is powerful enough to play these movies, but something codec-related is wrong with my XBMC video player. I have no idea how to configure it or update it.

The Hevc Video Club Addon is now installed and ready to use. The Add-on can now be located from Home Screen >Video Add-ons > Hevc Video Club. Play H.265/HEVC on Kodi flawlessly.
