Mar 07, 2014 · The reason is somewhat sad and simple: pyGrub shipped with XenServer 6.1 (all HF/patches installed) still doesn't support LZMA / XZ compressed kernels - while pyGrub can be compiled to support LZMA / XZ compressed kernels since quite a long time now.
