Sep 24, 2012 · I can't understand why software RAID isn't supported in Xenserver though. Wasn't it based on RHEL / Centos? These support software RAID. If software RAID isn't possible, then I guess the only option left would be to use FreeBSD + Virtualbox, though Xen(server) seemed to have more interesting features and better networking performance.

May 04, 2016 · When installing and only selecting 1 of the 2 drives Matrix sees the 1 drive as degraded and xenserver is also unable to boot. From my understanding I might need RAID drives but also saw some posts that linux does not support the above raid controller.
