Mar 27, 2018 · I have been reading a lot about Xbox game development. Back in 2010-12, XNA technology was available so that a game could use the gamer's avatar. When developing a game today, how can I use a gamer's avatar in the game ? I am aware that gamertag etc.. are available through Xbox live and creators or ID@xbox programs.

Sep 28, 2013 · for a while only XNA but .netfx 35 doesn't seem to want to install eather and the area in programs and features which allows you to turn Windows features on and off doesn't seem to be showing anything and (this probably isn't related but i'm going to say it anyway) in my FTB server when i use the help command it doesn't seem to tell me the server commands i can use

Does anybody know how to access the Xbox Live Avatar from within an XNA based Windows Phone 7 application? Examples I have found seem to use a SignedInGamer.Avatar property, but this is not accessible from Windows Phone 7. Is there another way or is this not possible in the first place? as a side note, I'm using the recent Mango beta 7.1 SDK ...
