Jun 15, 2009 · The system responded with " service dbora does not support chkconfig". I verified by " chkconfig --list grep dbora". The service script didn't be added up into chkconfig. I have read some of instruction on line and made some changes on scripts. It all didn't work. Hope any guru can give me some tips to solve this problem.

If there's no php-fpm init script, or the script doesn't contain that chkconfig comment, then chkconfig has nothing to work off of. share improve this answer answered May 20 '10 at 3:22

May 27, 2002 · Hello, I would like to add the apchectl script as startup service. I copy the script to /etc/init.d/httpd the service works fine and I can start and stop it (although I don't get <OK> or <FAILED> replay). when I run chkconfig add httpd I am getting the message "service httpd does not support chkconfig" I didn't use rpm for installing the service.
