I inherited the environment recently, and found that DPM has been borked for about 2 years, with the dreaded "evaluation copy expired" message. So I says, I just uninstall, and then reinstall so I can pop in the PID that should've been entered 2 years ago. Jan 26, 2018 · I'd make sure you're running the latest update on the DPM server. That will give you the correct agent to install on a 2003 server. The original out-of-box DPM 2012 R2 did not support 2003. You need at least Update Rollup 2, published June 2014, but we're up to Rollup 5 now, so use that one.
