Apr 30, 2011 · All of the NT 32-bit clients (NT4 Workstation , Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7) support a maximum of 4GB, none of them them support any more than that. Note that some specialized versions (like Starter Editions) may support less than 4GB.

Oct 26, 2016 · It seems like it's going to work, but after doing some research on Google, some people said that it wouldn't work because Windows XP 32-bit doesn't support more than 3GB. Even if it's true, would it work on Windows XP 64-bit, since there's also a driver for it and it's not a problem for me to install it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mar 19, 2012 · Windows 7 32-bit works the same as XP 32-bit with respect to RAM recognition. It will see 4GB, but only address 3.XGB. A 64-bit OS will see and address your 4GB or more of RAM.
