Mar 22, 2016 · I upgraded from Win 7, and originally my onboard GPU was listed as NVidia GeForce 6150SE. Now though, in Win 10, its listed as a 'Microsoft Basic ... NVidia GeForce 6150SE - Not Supported?! ... but they supposedly support the 6150SE on Windows 8. Maybe that's close enough.

Nov 27, 2009 · I too have this on board graphics and am having trouble with it. It seems that if I install either the drivers from Microsoft, NVIDIA or from the HP web site after the install I get a bunch of Event ID 243 Desktop Heap Allocation Failure errors logged.I have been getting these errors since installing Windows 7 but with an older driver they occur much less often.

Because the 6150SE (Nforce430 chip-set) is DX9, not 10. Most "modern" game titles no longer have the option for DX9 use. So if you wish to play a DX10 game title you will have to disable your on-board gpu.
