Sep 08, 2008 · the cpu in your 8510p is a drop in, I am 100% sure the t9300 will drop right in and work you may have to update your bios on the hp site tho, the t9500 might work not 100% positive on that tho, they do sell the 8710w with a t9500 in them so im guessing that the bios might be the same for 8510p as the 8710w and t9500 will work also, I upgraded ...
