Jul 23, 2017 · Turns out HPET depends on ACPI being turned on. We had disabled ACPS in order to disable CONFIG_CPU_IDLE, but it turns out you can enable ACPI and still disable CONFIG_CPU_IDLE as long as you also disable ACPI_PROCESSOR.Reviews: 3
