Have a new computer which has come with Acrobat Reader DC already installed. I am trying to open a Japanese language document and it is telling me that I need to update the Japanese language support package. However one form, which appears to be not significantly different to the others, displays the following message when opened in reader v7. Aug 15, 2012 · Same here. We resolved the issue by tracking down the object causing the warning (removing, testing, removing, testing). It turns out it was a text object whose text was pasted from Indesign - somehow a BELL-character snuck in there).

Dec 06, 2002 · Whenever I open a Japanese PDF with the Japanese version of Acrobat Reader, it displays correctly, but whenever I open it with the default (English-language version) there is just a blank document and an error-message telling me to install the Japanese Support Pack.
