Feb 24, 2016 · Using patchcode.bin to batch the MBR I was able to ENABLE AHCI for Windows on my iMac 2011. But now after sleep Windows 8 starts, crashes, reboots and continues at the point where it should have. Running windows7 show a similar behavior: I'm not sure whether it happens after sleep or after shutdown but Windows boots into system repair instead of the os from time to time.

Aug 30, 2018 · 1. I found out that sleep needs to be disabled in Windows 7, 8 and 10. For Windows 8 and 10, Right click on Start button and go to power options. Balanced profile should be selected by default. Click on Change plan settings. Put the computer to sleep-> Never 2. Again Right click on Start button and go to power options.
