I have imported a .igs file into ANSYS from NX. This solid body contains a cylindrical body that I would like to apply a cylindrical support to. When I right-click on the cylinder's face, I am not given the option to insert cylindrical support. I am only given 'fixed, frictionless, compression, and elastic' support options.

Jun 26, 2006 · The cylindrical support constraint is used for constraining cylindrical parts, however it does not allow you to provide a value for the displacement. Maybe I need to redefine my issue a little : I want to expand a metal tube with some cutouts in radial direction. I expect that by doing this, the tube will get shorter and the cutouts deform.
