Apr 23, 2015 · I am trying to upload (what I think is) a SHA-2 SSL cert and the Azure management portal (old one) rejects it. Prior to trying to do this, my original certificate that is in use currently with my Azure Web Apps site is showing as SHA-1 in Chrome and I think that's because SHA-1 is the default for OpenSSL's "macalg" parameter.
