Appart from supporting the LCD, the way Atapiduino now communicates with the CD-ROM drive is more 'mature'. Unfortunately the only two DVD drives Atapiduino has been connected to did not work. Don't know if this is the same with all DVD drives but in theory they should support audio CD playback like CD-ROM drives.

Jul 31, 2012 · The CD drive works, as if I insert a music cd for example, it runs. The Windows CD also works in other PCs. Any ideas how can I format my PC if the CD won´t run? Or any ideas how to make it run if I get that "Boot from ATAPI CD-ROM: Failure..." message? Many thanks in advance.

Apr 01, 2011 · Was asked to restart to complete the removal of the viruses, but then got the "No bootable cd in atapi cd rom" message when it restarted! Incase anyone asks.. no, there isn't a CD in the drive when I boot up I've gone back into the BIOS & change the primart boot device back to HDD, but I just get the black screen with a cursor.
