    Audacity won't open the file saying it is unrecognized and suggests opening the file in raw format. When I try that I just get ear piercing noises. I have gone to the SPEEX site and tried everything there that made sense to me. I think the thing is that the file is not a SPEEX file, but it is encoded with SPEEX.
