From the installation folder go to the 3rdParty folder > DirectX > and run the DXSETUP.exe. If this errors then there is something more seriously wrong with the OS and you most likely need to re-image the machine even if its a brand new computer. If the DXSETUP.exe installs with no errors then you can try to install the Autodesk software again.
