May 28, 2015 · Proper controller support is on the horizon, but I will point out that Source games in general are not too great with controllers, particularly with the aiming aspect. Having played both L4Ds and CS:GO on the Xbox, I can feel your pain. Yes, I have the same trouble in L4D as well. But it seems more pronounced with Black Mesa.

You can probably somehow use a controller in Black Mesa if you launch it via Steam Big Picture but don't expect a smooth plug'n'play experience. You will need to look into the game-specific controller settings inside Big Picture. level 2 Ok thanks for the heads up.

It means the controller cant access certain things. In Black Mesa's case its that the menus are only mouse + keyboard, but the gameplay can be full controller. 9seed View Profile View Posts
