Currently, we are running BO XI R2 on RHEL4.4. We are considering to upgrade O/S to RHEL5.0 or RHEL 5.2. But I am seeing lots of post to trouble even with BO XI 3.1. Is it even supported? How can I find official documnet about this? Thanks,

Business Objects Enterprise XI Release 2. Any version of BOXI R2 equal to or greater than Business Objects XI R2 Service Pack 5 includes an Oracle 11g driver. However, if you find your instance is still lurking below SP5 you are not without hope. According to Oracle, 10g drivers can successfully be used to connect to Oracle 11g databases.

Aug 14, 2009 · IPv6 is supported with BO XI 3.1and later version. BO XI R2 does not support IPv6. Becuase IPv6 is not compatible with IPv4, the swtich to IPv6 network is NOT transparent to BO products. Actually, to be IPv6 ready, we need to make quite a lot changes in the different areas of BO products, including SDK, Servers, and UI.
