My 92 A4 Coupe already had an RD Racing Cross Frame Brace, an RD Camber Brace and an Arizona Speed and Marine Harness Bar, but was still too flexy for my taste with the Targa Top off. Well, the AFSB fixed all that. My car is now as stiff as I always wanted it to be with the top off. She's ready for more horsepower now! Thanks, Tom!!!

Jan 06, 2013 · The C4 was "Cutting Edge " when it left the factory in Bowling Green. I can't imagine needing a frame stiffener on either one of mine. And I am a tight wad when it comes to cash. When this guy developed this stiffener, was he daily driving his C4 or racing it?.....

I worked up a prototype Truss Bar ( see photo on right ) -- fabricated some metal braces to hold in place between the front Header Board and the rear Header Board . I used Stainless Steel bolts that you tighten with Wing Nuts so it can be easily removed or installed as needed . Then took it out for a test run and DAMN -- It Works Great !
