Dec 05, 2014 · I found a weird quirk with my 2560x1440 monitor when I use the dual-link DVI cable - I can't support triple-screens (putting one or both of the secondary 1920x1200 monitors on active single-link displayport to DVI adapters or HDMI).

Hi, I can't get 2560x1440 resolution from my GT 1030. I'm using a HP LP3065 monitor connected via DUAL Link DVI cable. But the highest resolution I can configure with the GT 1030 is 1280x800. I had a Quadro 600 and I had the 2560x1440 resolution with the same setup. I …

Hello all I'm using a dual link dvi cable as recommended by the manual and I'm unable to set anything higher than 1680x1050. My graphics is onboard and is Intel HD Graphics 4600. Jul 02, 2016 · I can't achieve more than 1920x1080 from Asus UX31a-DH51 to a Dell U2713HM thru micro-HDMI to HDMI cable. The Intel HD Graphics doesn't list that resolution as an option. However, I was able to get 2560x1440 from my Dell Latitude E5430 (with a …

Nov 05, 2019 · DisplayPort is another matter. DisplayPort can physically support dual link channels. I've seen enough convincing success stories of Active DisplayPort to DVI Dual Link pulling off 2560x1440@60Hz, that I know it's a thing. But from what I can gather, and it's been a year since I last looked into this, it's going to be a YMMV scenario.

HDMI 1.3 and above can support up to 340 MHz (10.2 Gbit/s) and the U2711 only requires 241.5 MHz for 2560 x 1440 at 60 Hz & 10 bits per color channel. However, all the links in the chain must support the desired resolution and color depth (i.e. video card, driver, output, cable, input and monitor).

It doesn't tell that the 2560x1440 resolution can only display by connect over DVI or DP. HDMI 1.3 standard can support 1440p since 2006. The manual of the U2713HM said it can support HDMI1.4 input. So it should able to support 2560x1440, otherwise I will be very disappointing.
