Apr 23, 2013 · I am sorry, but you can't download anything while using the Internet Channel. And wanting Nintendo to enable downloads in the Internet Channel will open the Wii to hacks and viruses from the internet. So there is no way you can upgrade the Internet Channel's Flash player yourself.

Basically, a lot of games won't work such as super mario bros on www.nintendo8.com (or whatever that website is) Maybe a future internet channel for the wii will support flash player games

Supposedly, any USB drive that can be formatted to Wii U format will work. The only ones where you can't play Wii U games off of, is the SDRam cards plugged in via the SD slot. Jan 11, 2014 · I was always under the assumption, that the WiiU Browser wouldnt support flash player, no matter what. Only html5 streams in .mp4 format. Thats why I have always been using Plex to watch TV shows, because it could transcode the media on the fly.
