Sep 20, 2006 · I cant hear rear sound anywhere though I have configured 4 speakers every where. But only at dxdiag wizard when i am clicking at TestDirectSound then sound is coming at all rear and front speakers. And after that the msg below is appeared. "your sound card does not support hardware buffering. Sounds will only play back from software buffers."

Sep 29, 2007 · If yours supports hardware buffering, it should state Hardware buffer after a few tests of Software buffer. Unfortunately, after the software buffer tests, my Dxdiag simply shows that my sound card does not support hardware buffering and closes the test.

Dec 12, 2016 · The other game which does for a fact NOT support it, which came to my mind: Lichdom: Battlemage, doesn't support DSR(nor VSR) resolutions and not even TressFX on nVidia cards, so I'm not able to get my framerate below 60fps despite how hard I'm trying .:3eyes: I'll continue to see if I can find any others without native Triple Buffering support.

Aug 31, 2013 · Triple buffering is more complicated. The way DirectX is implemented there is no official triple buffering and I am not convinced that DXOverrider does what people claim it does. The DirectX API doesn't support setting the policy and the buffering of triple buffering so its largely simulating it using the pieces available.
