Sep 06, 2010 · i have refoamed four pairs of acoustic research speakers using different kits everytime and the speaker-repairs ones were by far the worst. very thin foam, shims were literally a5 paper chopped up into strips and the glue ! dont get me started on the glue - they give you pva to do the refoam ! if you manage to get them to stick they fall apart a few days later on bass heavy music.
