Jun 15, 2008 · I was looking at my FAFSA application and was shocked that they ask if you receive child support. Isn't child support supposed to be for the child and not the parent?? I mean it is supposed to be used to help with the costs of raising a child - it is not supposed to be used for things for the parent.
