Sep 07, 2012 · chrome will support MathML as soon as webkit does, chrome relies on webkit to handle this part of the rendering process. It looks like the webkit project is finally moving forward on this, it has been an outstanding problem for years.

The latest version of Chromium does not support MathML rendering, so basically it renders text without any math layout: MathML in Blink-based Chrome 76.0.3809.100 for Linux (2019)
