Hello, I'm looking at implementing a new DMZ and wanted Netflow capability for security monitoring. The architectural principles I have to adhere to dictate that the switches within the DMZ are layer 2 however to get Netflow I need a minimum of a 3560/3750X, Network Services module, IP Base IOS with ip routing and CEF enabled.

Aug 08, 2015 · NetFlow isn't supported on a Catalyst 3560-X out-of-the-box. You need to do a few things to be able to use Flexible NetFlow on your 3560-X: Ensure your hardware revision of the 3560-X is at least V02 - execute the command 'show version include Hardware' on your switch to ensure it supports the required hardware module.

Cisco C3560 Support Flexible NetFlow! This problem can be solved with newer software IOS upgrade on Cisco 3k and 2900 series catalyst switches. The IOS version is 12.2(58)SE and supported platform are (3750-X, 3560-X, 3750-E, 3750G, 3560-E, 3560G, 2960, and 2960-S).
