SU1 is the IPS subscription entitlement for ASAs with the now end-of-sales IPS module. You should not have been able to purchase it in the first place without an existing SNT hardware support contract in place since that is a required prerequisite. Your Cisco account manager or reseller should be able to look into it and see how that came to pass.

Jan 23, 2020 · Symptom: Certain CLI settings changed post upgrade (11.5 to 12.5 SU1) Conditions: We recently upgraded from 11.5 to 12.5 and noticed some of the CLI settings changed post upgrade. This was observed on CUCM, Unity and IMP. We have FIPS and EnhancedSecurityMode set on all these nodes pre upgrade and still enabled post upgrade.
