I'd be quite surprised if YouTube's move spurs too much moving away from IE6. IE7 and IE8 have both been declared critical updates by MS, so only home users who really hate IE7/8 and know enough to manually deselect that update, or users whose automatic updates are disabled or broken would still have IE6.
