    In VTP version 3 you have to enable pruning manually in every switch of the domain. Enabling pruning only in a VTP server doesn't activate this feature automatically in the others switches of the domain. This is different with VTPv1 or VTPv2, where you just have to configure pruning in a VTP server in order to activate it in all domain's switches.
