This unsually occurs when the SAN does not support SCSI-3 Persistent Reservation, and is not certified for use with Windows 2008 Clusters. It was a new feature which was introduced into Windows 2008 to make Cluster Verification easier. But I've only seen it on non certified older SAN storage.

May 26, 2015 · Successfully put PR reserve on cluster disk 0 from node server1.mydomain.com while it should have failed Cluster Disk 0 does not support Persistent Reservation Test failed. Please look at the test log for more information Note: If i move both Guest server to the same ESX host and run the validation report it completes successfully.
