Jul 27, 2009 · What is the best method of invisible support for the 18" cantilevered section? I saw a post from StoneGirl referring to a technique called "rodding" with a rectangular flat steel bar - i.e. (1/4"x1/2") imbedded (on end) in the stone with epoxy. I am assuming this technique is used on minimum 1-1/4" thick stone countertop.
