Feb 15, 2013 · Re: Concrete Countertop Overhang Question. I think after concrete is curred you snap the form and it breaks clean right at the cabinet or what ever surface its attached too. Same goes for Styrofoam forms, this way you don't see anything on the bottom.

Jul 13, 2017 · The granite slab is about as big as you can do without a seam. It has a 15" overhang for seating and everything I read states anything over 10" needs support. I brought support up to the granite contractor and he said no support needed as he proceeded to sit on the edge of the counter.
