"Continued support" is the standard verbiage that charities use when thanking their donors -- the idea behind it is that you're trying to encourage the donors to continue donating in the future. If you say "continuous support," you're thanking them for something that they have already done, but with no "incentive" to keep doing it.

Jul 10, 2016 · "Thank you for your continued support" is the standard. You're thanking someone for what they have done (with a slight suggestion that it would be nice if they continued. Continuous suggests they supported you every step of the way, which is seldom true.

So, just a few minutes ago we had this question asking whether one could substitute ongoing availability with continuing availability and what the difference would be, if any. Apart from the question looking like spam and being deleted, my gut feeling told me it should've been continued availability instead of continuing.
