Nov 07, 2009 · You only have to force directX 7 if you're using a MacBook (or Mac Mini) because of the absence of a dedicated GPU. If that's the case there is a command you type in the game properties window to force directX 7, just search the forums for "Counter Strike", I bet there's a lot of threads that teach how to do that
