Court Support Service for Victims Now Available in Newcastle This service for victims and witnesses of crime is available for Local and District Court matters at Newcastle Court House. The extension of VWCCS’ network to include Newcastle was greatly assisted by the support of the NSW Attorney General, Mark Speakman.

CRC’s Court Support Scheme (CSS) was established in 1982 and operates in local courts across the Sydney metropolitan area, Central Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong. Funded by the Legal Aid NSW, CSS is available for defendants, witnesses, victims of crime, as well as the many friends and families of those attending court.
