Currently I am working with Adobe Photoshop CS3 and have noticed the application never uses more than 50% of my CPU suggesting it is only taking advantage of 2 cores which brings me to my questions: Is there any Quad-Core support for Adobe Photoshop CS3 or any utilities I can install that would allow for Quad Core Support? Aug 26, 2007 · yes, ae cs3 will use all cores if you enable multiprcessing in the preferences and you have enough ram to feed those cores data. adobe recommends 1gb per core (the ram used per core can be set in the memory pref, by setting the max ram cache size).

Photoshop needs to support multi-cores to do processing for everything, and if it can do, to make GPU participate in whatever images and video exporting.
