Feb 20, 2012 · The first point is right but another reason why the peasants supported the bolsheviks is because during the Russian Civil War if thw Whites have defeated the Bolsheviks if the pesants knew that the landowners would return to capture the land again even though they hated the bolsheviks for all the other reasons they preferred them to the whites.
