Oct 23, 2009 · Hi, I'm running 8.04 on a Thinkpad X60 with IntelPro/1000 Network Driver, Intel Wireless 4965AGN driver. The link below says that I can solve the problem with my VPN client by disabling "vlan priority support." I think that this is a setting to be disabled on my wireless interface. I have not figured out how this can be done. Anyone know.

The fix is to disable VLAN Priority Support on the WLAN adapter. ***** This worked for all my Dell users so far. The HP WLAN driver doesn't have the option available, but its probably the same thing-still researching. So far the Broadcom chipset is the common denominator between the Dells and HP.

Jan 19, 2009 · Priority - enables 802.1p marking of frames for Class of Service, doesn't mean anything in a home environment VLAN - enables 802.1q tagging so frames have a header identifying what VLAN they belong to, doesn't mean anything in a home environment. Leave this disabled unless there is a very specific reason to mess with them.

Re: How to maximize speeds with a Broadcom AC card and R7000? We don't know your internet connection speed but it sounds like that's your bottleneck and the wifi is working fine. It's mostly a 2x2 chip so 866mbps is correct and the 802.11n type is a Windows thing and you can just ignore it.
