Aug 18, 2010 · I know you can get discounted Oyster Card on JSA and IS, but do you have to be on full Income Support to get cheap travel? My friend who's a carer receives Carer's Allowance but only £11.00 Income Support as he receives money from an industrial injury.

They need an Oyster card, backed up by a photocard, which confirms they receive Income Support. The photocard is available from the post office.
