Aug 09, 2019 · SLI and Crossfire are pretty much dead as a technology. What could be done is DX12 / Vulkan multi-GPU support. It’s in like one or two games at this point but it allows using multiple GPUs, even dGPU and integrated graphics… But it requires low level support of it in the game.

As an SLI user for many years and a WoW fanatic, WoW had among the BEST SLI scalings of at least 50 games I played. On BFA, removal of EFS made a mess and although a patch one week ago made SLI scaling great as in pre BFA era, yesterday's mini update fucked it up again (G-Sync aswell).

May 24, 2019 · DX12 does not support Crossfire and SLI and instead has put the responsibility on the game developers to integrate the new way to use multi-gpu setups, Explicit mGPU, into titles. A few games have done this, but I HIGHLY doubt Blizzard will spend the resources to do it.

Apr 04, 2008 · Does WoW support SLI? I am playing that game most of the time so i am thinking about getting 9600GT SLI or maybe 9800GTX. SLI is faster then 9800gtx for sure, just don't want to buy sli and then find out only specific games can use it.

WoW doesn't support crossfire or SLI.In fact, most MMOs don't support it. The code just is not optimized for it and as a result, things actually run worse.Even if they took the time to support Crossfire and SLI, I don't believe performance would increase much.

Nov 10, 2015 · Now I don't want to hear that I don't "need" 980ti SLI or that I'm insane, figured that out already :cool: What I want to hear is if it's anyone in here running WoW, or other games for that matter as well, with 980ti SLI in 1440p. Does WoW scale well with that setup? Supposed to be more CPU intense so that's why I'm asking.
