Jun 21, 2017 · The Baseline DNG support in Aperture 2 and Aperture 3 does not include Linear DNG images. Only RAW DNG is supported. 
 DNG images created by cameras with Foveon sensors are not supported. The image data format with Foveon sensors is very different from that of the Bayer sensors used by most cameras.

So while Apple doesn't provide any new updates to "Aperture", they do provide updates to "Photos". Also, the "Preview" app, "Quicklook" feature of Finder, and Finder itself all share the same Camera RAW update support.

Can any experienced (Apple) Aperture user tell me whether Aperture has decent support for a RAW+JPEG workflow? For example, can Aperture: tag both files at the same time with a single key hit? while still allowing me to access either of both files should I wish to do so?

Apr 25, 2010 · Adobe now has basic RAW support for the t2i as well as 8 other new(ish) cameras. They are not the final versions, but the initial profiles are out there. Let the RAW support race begin! Adobe Labs now have beta RAW support for the t2i as well as 8 other new(ish) cameras.

Answer GF-1 raw files are NOT supported. I have just acquired a DMC-G1 and tried to install the RAW compatibility upgrade 3.0. It won't install, and I get the message that a later upgrade is already installed. Aperture 2 shows the DMC-G1 files as previews, but puts up the message "unsupported file format" when you select the preview for editing.
