The link to the "update" from Apple is a very old version of Java. Even Apple discourages users from installing it due to security vulnerabilities. It is odd that Aptana 3 runs on Windows 8.1 64-bit and Server 2012 64-bit with the latest version of Oracle's JRE but not on OS X Yosemite.
