    Feb 25, 2013 · I am querying the same thing. In V3 & V4 betas it was fairly straightforward, you could add and remove widget/sidebar areas by editing the Sidebars.php file and configuring the CSS in the styles.css file + adding or moving the php sidebar calls as needed.

    As said above, the content of my footer-widget doesn’t show up in wordpress itself. The strange thing about this is that it does showup on the website. So in the current state I’m not able to change the footer or access the text editor. footer.php
