Jun 16, 2010 · Your "solution" above allows (some, but not all) UPnP packets to flow through the 2Wire but does absolutely nothing to address his issue -- the 2Wire still will not answer a UPnP request from a device on his network because the 2Wire doesn't implement the protocol.

Aug 28, 2014 · The main WHS set up problem is that since the wireless router (2Wire 3800HGV-B) does not support UPnP, and because I receceived the following messages: Unable to verify that router is accepting Web site connections. Unable to verify that router is accepting Remote Access connectiond. Verifty forwarding port.

The registration failed due to 2wire not supporting upnp. The work around is to manually enable port forwarding on the 2wire router. The camera installation instruction says " See the router manual for how to enable port forwarding." I found nothing in the 2wire manual. I called AT&T helpline, talked to 10 agents, still have no answer.
